When the Lakers and Clippers Tussle, It’s All About Nostalgia
By Brian Kamenetzky | What I See, Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers
With the Lakers and Clippers getting together tonight at Staples, I thought it might be fun to scour the web for great highlights in the LAL/LAC rivalry. Turns out, since the purple and gold have dominated the series 83-45 since the Clips moved to LA, there really aren’t any. Can’t have rivalry highlights without a rivalry. So it Lakers/Celtics it ain’t, but that doesn’t mean we can’t hop into the WABAC machine and kick it old school.
Swen Nater, World B. Free, Kareem and Magic together in one highlight? God bless YouTube.

Hey khandor-
Do you think when the Doobies recorded China Grove, they figured they’d one day be fronted by a white pants wearin’ keyboard player with a sweater draped over one shoulder? (Haha)
Who cares? Great band.
Brian,
Highly unlikely.
