Angels 10, White Sox 7: It was an eventful night at the Big A, that’s for sure. The evening festivities included Torii Hunter bobblehead night, Orlando Cabrera’s semi-awkward 2007 Gold Glove presentation, Vladimir Guerrero and the rest of the Angels’ offense recalling what it was like to score some runs, and perhaps the most intriguing series part of the night — the events surrounding Nick Adenhart. The young pitching prospect picked up his first Major League win, halted the Halos’ four-game losing streak, and was then sent back down to Triple-A following the game. If the kid didn’t know the big leagues were a business, he sure does now.

Dodgers at Brewers (5:05 p.m. PST, PRIME HD): Eric Gagne and the Dodgers’ success used to coincide so often that it is only fitting that their struggles seem to run together as well. Even when they are on opposing sides. Both the Dodgers and Gagne have showed maddening inconsistency, both have been put on the backburner in favor of seemingly better options, and both are looking to rebound and regain the respect each once commanded.
White Sox at Angels (7:05 p.m. PST, FSN): Jered Weaver looks to get back on track tonight, propel the ethereal ones to a winning streak, and wipe away all that remains of that nasty sweep in Tampa over the weekend. I still can’t wait to see what this team looks like when everyone is healthy.

- A relieving diagnosis of a tear? Welcome to the wacky world of Howie Kendrick’s injured hamstring.
- The Dodgers are also dealing with injuries to one of their young infielders as they placed SS Rafael Furcal on the DL.

- As he sometimes does T.J. Simers takes a break from is curmudgeon status to tell the tale of some inspiring individuals. Well done TJ.
- Mike Bresnahan ponders how much Bryant’s sore back will effect the MVP (as well as the entire team) in Game 5. This is a serious concern because there’s no way a healthy Kobe gets shut down by that Rocky villain wannabe, Andrei Kirilienko.
- SportsHubLA Column of the Day comes to us from Steve Dilbeck of the Daily News. Everyone loves to say Phil had MJ, Pippen, Shaq, Kobe etc., and that is why he has won all these titles. But to any true basketball fan, the importance of the Zen master is known. And Dilbeck highlights how Jackson’s subtle adjustments will probably take his team to the brink of another series victory.
