Chargers Podcast: Adrian Garcia, Chargers Radio
By SportsHubLA | Podcast, NFL, San Diego Chargers, Sports on the Mind
No question expectations are large for the San Diego Chargers this season. They ought to be one of the AFC’s best teams, up there with the mighty Patriots in the race to represent the conference in the Super Bowl. Of course, we’ve heard that one before. The Bolts are committed to playing the ‘08 schedule week to week, without getting ahead of themselves. Good thing, too, because even with a roster full of talent, there are some issues. The health of OLB Shawn Merriman (left) on the defensive side and TE Antonio Gates on offense, for example. They need someone to step up and fill the void left by backup running back Michael Turner, who signed a big deal this offseason with the Atlanta Falcons. There’s some continuity still to be developed between QB Philip Rivers and his wideouts.
The margin for error this season is small, since folks are expecting a lot. SportsHubLA.com editors Andrew and Brian Kamenetzky talk about all these issues and more (including a segue into Manny Mania and the Blue) with Adrian Garcia, radio voice for the Chargers’ Spanish language broadcasts (and frequent SHLA contributor) on 1330 ESPN Deportes in LA, and 107.3 in San Diego.
Enjoy.

Nice Pod Cast. Discovered this for the first time - I will check back often to see what’s up
Thanks, ChargerJeff. We plan on keeping a steady amount of Chargers material on the site (including regular conversations with Adrian), so we appreciate you taking more looks down the road.
I am a Mod on a Charger forum and big tailgating group and I posted a link. Keep up the good work
