UCLA showed in last Saturday’s 28-3 win over Washington State at the Rose Bowl that they are, in fact, not the worst team in the Pac-10 (in case anyone was worried).  Even better, on the offensive side they built on a strong performance the week prior against Fresno State.  It shouldn’t surprise, then, to see that prosperity linked to better health.  Two straight good showings from the O (that’s a Ryan Moya TD catch on the left), two straight weeks with the same offensive line.  Continuity matters.  This week, though, The Bruins face a very tough test in Oregon, up in Eugene.  This is the same Oregon team that plays very well at home and will roll in plenty ticked off after getting waxed by USC at the Coliseum last week.

I kick around the Oregon game, the offensive upswing, and the continuing evolution of Rick Neuheisel’s first season with Adam Rose of the LATimes.com’s What’s Bruin? blog.   Enjoy.
